What a great vest to wear over a shirt! Using strands taken from the self-patterning yarn, the squares of colour on the back echo the stripes on the front to great effect. Because it's sleeveless, it's really built for action!

The vest you see modeled by Aidan, on the far left in the photographs was knit using Regia Jacquard Highland (5274) and Scheepjes Invicta Extra Charcoal (1340) with front and armhole bands in Regia Color 4 Ply (2000) Navy and Regia Color 4 Ply (540) Solid Navy. The one on the right and in the two smaller photos, modeled by Devan was knit using DGB Confetti (226) and (9027) with front and armhole bands in Confetti (21003). Both are size 2-3 yrs.

Casual Fridays like Dad? The self-patterning sock yarn used in the design creates a Fair Isle effect on the collar and sleeves which lends a real sophistication to this polo pullover. It's really warm and cosy for a spring or fall day. My son lives in this sweater.

Building blocks inspire a cardigan for the really active child, modeled by its namesake. The solid-coloured upper section contrasts beautifully with the jewel-like tones of the self-patterning yarn.

The blue sweater was knit using Regia 4-ply Jacquard Taiga (5272) with Pingouin Laine Nylon turquoise (619) and Scheepjes Invicta Extra white (1357) in size 6-12 mo. The red sweater was knit using Patons Kroy Jacquard Crayon (54603) with Scheepjes Invicta Extra red (1545) and Regia 4-ply cream (1992) in size 1-2 yrs.
